Lisa Talamantes, MD
Born in Colorado, I was happy to return after attending college and medical school in Texas. I attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1985 with a BA in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.
Following this, I attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After receiving my Medical Doctorate degree in 1991, I returned to my home state for my Family Medicine residency training program at Mercy and St. Anthony’s hospitals.
I graduated 3 years later and joined Coal Creek Family Medicine in August of 1995. I have very much enjoyed my work at Coal Creek due to a fantastic staff and wonderful patients. I continue to enjoy the broad spectrum of family medicine, caring for old and young alike. I especially enjoy preventive medicine, pediatrics, and gynecology.
I am married and have 3 wonderful children who always keep me busy. I enjoy traveling, volunteering, and outdoor activities.
