Julie is originally from Boston, but grew up travelling and living in several different cities, including Sydney, Australia. She received her B.S. at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX, then her M.S. in Biology at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. She has lived in Colorado for the past 10 years, and received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Colorado.
Julie has had several interesting career paths, including social worker, biologist, and conservationist. She merged her passion for both science and helping others by becoming a physician assistant. This career has been incredibly fulfilling, and she enjoys getting to know and help her patients maintain and improve their health, through every stage of life. She also does minor procedures such as suturing, mole removal, and skin biopsies. Prior to coming to Coal Creek Family Medicine, she worked at an Internal Medicine practice in Denver.
Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and puppy, doing anything outside. Hiking, skiing, running, camping, and mountain biking are a few favorites. She also loves to travel, read, and see live music.
